8 Big Lots stores in Oregon will shutter amid nationwide closures

The company is planning to shutter over 315 of its 1,389 locations nationwide to “aggressively address underperforming stores.”

OREGON, USA — Big Lots is set to close over 300 stores across the U.S., according to a late-July filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commision (SEC). 

The company is planning to shutter 315 of its 1,389 locations nationwide to “aggressively address underperforming stores,” increasing the number of closures from the initial number of 150. The majority of those stores appear to be in Arizona, California, Florida and Washington.

Oregon has 14 stores in total, and eight of those will be closing, including:
