US Postal Service unveils new holiday season stamps

USPS said stamps are an important American holiday tradition each year for art enthusiasts and stamp collectors.

PARK CITY, Utah — The newest stamps have arrived for the holiday season.

The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has unveiled its 2024 Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and winter season Forever stamps.

The four “Holiday Joy” stamps were inspired by Mexican folk art. The new stamps were designed by Antonio Alcalá, an art director for USPS, using original digital illustrations by Michelle Muñoz.

The 2024 Christmas Madonna stamp features the serene Madonna and Child from 17th-century Italian artist Giovanni Battista Salvi, called “Sassoferrato” (1609-1685).
