AVISTA ARTISTS
Avista has been building a metro substation at the corner of Third and Post in downtown Spokane for the past year or so. Construction on the interior won’t be complete until mid-2027, but the facade is nearly done and includes some amazing contributions from local artists Aaron Smith and Stacie Boyer. The paintings fixed to the outside walls of the building were created under the theme “We All Belong.” Smith’s painting depicts a view of Spokane from the South Hill at dusk while Boyer’s (above) leans into the beautiful nature surrounding
