After several years of stop-and-go pandemic restrictions, it finally feels like things have gotten back to some semblance of normalcy out in the Willamette Valley. Tasting rooms are packed with casual sippers and serious oenophiles; wineries are once again stacking their calendars with guest winemakers, live music, and food pop-ups; and a spate of new high-profile openings, including several James Beard-nominated restaurants (hello, ōkta and Hayward) has lent to an atmosphere of reinvigoration.
