PORTLAND, Ore. — A car crashed near the front entrance of the Salty’s seafood restaurant in Northeast Portland Friday morning, damaging part of the carport that extends over the passenger loading area.
A large carport awning extends out from the building and over the driveway, supported by two wooden columns on the far side. Photos taken at the scene show that the car apparently mounted the surrounding curb and crashed into one of the columns, dislodging it at the base and snapping the wood at
