Car-sharing company Free2move to end service in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. — A car-sharing company is leaving Portland at the end of this month. Free2move announced that it will stop service in the Rose City on Nov. 30.

In an email sent to customers on Monday, Free2move said they made their decision based on two factors: rising operation costs and the challenge of enticing more Portlanders to use car-sharing on a regular basis.
