PORTLAND, Ore. — People in Northwest Portland are bothered by illegal activity in a neighborhood park. Within the past week or two, neighbors living around Couch Park said a man carrying a machete was threatening adults and children.
Around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to a report of the man with a machete. They were not able to find any victims, Portland police said. They took the machete for safekeeping and gave the man a property receipt, which is Portland Police Bureau (PPB) policy, so that
