Moving on up: Three Junior B leagues get bump to Junior A to make up for BCHL bolting

B.C. Hockey has unveiled its plan for Junior A and filling in for the B.C. Hockey League going independent.

The 45 Junior B teams from the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL), Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL) and Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League (VIJHL) are being reclassified as Junior A Tier 2, and some will eventually move up to Junior A Tier 1, B.C. Hockey announced Tuesday morning.
