The Vancouver Warriors’ inability to close out games may be their most pressing of several worries right now.
The Warriors (1-9) were outscored 4-1 in the fourth quarter by the Calgary Roughnecks (7-3) Friday night and went on to fall 14-9 before an announced crowd of 7,538 at Rogers Arena. The Warriors were hosting Pride Night.
Vancouver lost 14-13 to the Panther City Lacrosse Club last week in Fort Worth, Texas, on an evening where the Warriors had a 10-9 lead in the third quarter, gave up a 5-1 run and couldn’t rally back from that.
