The Coquitlam Express are hosting Pride Night on Friday when the Cowichan Valley Capitals come to to town and you don’t have to search very deep into social media to see there are critics.
Express general manager Tali Campbell even felt forced to make a pre-emptive announcement on his Twitter feed that the club wasn’t going to force players to use pride stick tape but would offer it up to them as an option for their B.C. Hockey League game at the Poirier Sports and Leisure Centre (7 p.m.).
