Mike Ford has had an interesting time with the Seattle Mariners. In two separate stints with the club, he has yet to appear in a game with them. The Mariners originally acquired Ford, a power-hitting first baseman, in the Rule 5 draft in 2017. He played with the team through spring training. When he did not earn a spot on the big-league roster, the Mariners sent him back to the Yankees.
